Selsun 2.5% is Schedule 0 medication used as an anti-seborrhoeic agent for the treatment of common dandruff and mild/moderately severe cases of seborrhoeic dermatitis (excessive secretion of sebum) of the scalp. It can control chronic seborrhoeic scalp conditions and is also effective in the treatment of tinea (fungal) infections, including ringworm.
Selsun 2.5%’s hero ingredient is Selenium Sulphide, a chemical agent commonly used for treating dandruff. This antifungal agent relieves itching, flaking, scaling, and dry skin on the scalp and body. Selenium Sulphide is also effective in the treatment of a condition that causes discoloration of the skin (tinea versicolor).

Dude! this stuff works. I've been battling an itchy flaky scalp for years until someone recommended this product. I bought it three weeks ago at Dischem with the Apple cider conditioner and my scalp has never felt this good. I am an African female with dreadlocks and have not washed my hair for over a week now and its not flaky or itchy. I normally would start seeing dandruff within a few hours of washing my hair and flakes within a day but now there's neither. Im over the moon!!!. WOW WOW WOW I will never stop using this product

It’s now become a staple in my hair wash day routine, I’ve never been so happy with a anti dandruff product that didn’t make my scalp feel super dry and stripped. I must admit the scent is not the best but after shampooing it’s not as strong.
Selsun 2.5% has definitely restored my confidence especially when wearing my favorite middle part low bun hairstyle. There’s nothing more nerve wrecking than trying to do a style and having your dandruff on full display. The itchiness is completely gone and it only took 4-5 washes for me to see results. I would highly recommend this product to anyone suffering from dandruff but also for serborrhoea dermatitis, itchy and flaky skin.

I love selsun,after 3 weeks of use am happy with my dandruff and itchy free scalp. I also feel like the packaging is small,would prefer it bigger and wont mind paying more for it. Lovely product and l highly recommend

I have been using Selsun 2.5% for three weeks now and after 5 washes I have seen a dramatic decrease in my dandruff. The key ingredient is gentle yet effective. I would highly recommend this product if you have a flaky scalp. It’s also did not dry out my hair.

Amazing product, works like charm for itchy scalp and flaky skin took only 3 weeks to clear. Great packaging, easy to use bottle and squeeze cap means you can control how much product you want, easy to read leaflet, smells good. A bit drying on the skin so make sure to moisturize after.
